Brendan opened this meeting with the holiday sentiment, “May we all get what we deserve.”  Brendan, having you back for a meeting was already far more than we deserve.  It was a wonderful start to the holiday season.

Amy led this meeting in which Susana made her first appearance as Table Topics Master.  Brendan relayed his holiday lie of having told people he was Jewish.  Carol relayed her holiday disaster – a flight from Austin to South Carolina that didn’t quite go as planned.  Carlos told of his holiday dreams of waking up to snow. 

With holiday dreams and delusions behind us, Jason delivered a speech – or at least what many of us would call a speech - on his recent trip to New York; he wrote a holiday poem and set it to photos of New York City.  Then Albert delivered a report to the Austin City Council on First Night.  Finally, Raj – who we have also missed terribly – blessed us with his delivery of “Ode to Christmas,” a club tradition.

After Wendy, Keith, Rey, and Jenny evaluated, we awarded the following ribbons:

  • Most Enthusiastic:  Wendy
